The popularity and technology increase in first-person war video games have become a cultural phenomenon in teens and adults. Military software simulations, or wargames, are top sellers in the software game industry. It’s a cult where millions get involved in the battleground. The ’90s was a decade of marked innovation in video gaming. It was a decade of transition from sprite-based graphics to full-fledged 3D graphics.

Kids of the ’90s would definitely recall games like mortal Kombat, Battlefield 1942, Doom ultimate fighting game series that will make you want to go back in time.

Today, the gaming industry is no longer just an entertainment medium, gaming has rapidly become a lifestyle. Gamers demand has put on increased pressure on developers to deliver games with superior content and hardware so they can power the best gaming experiences.

The recent PUBG gaming addiction put gamers into a frenzy! Ardent fans of PUBG even said, “We’re PUB G players, we don’t need beautiful, we need battery full??”

A multi-player game where the shooter pits 100 players against each other in a struggle for survival. Gather supplies and outwit opponents to become the last person standing. However, the game is banned in India due to security reasons. The question is, what’s next for the serious gamers now in India?

India is all set to release FAU-G in November 2020, game publisher NCore Games announced in a tweet – to be marketed as an Indian alternative to PUBG. What possibly can make the game interesting for the Indian gamers is that the first level of the game will be based on the Galwan valley skirmishes between India and China, however, it all depends on factors like the quality of graphics, responsiveness, content, and gaming experience; designed to tap into the country patriotism and anti-China sentiments will only work if gamers get addicted to it! Co-founder Vishal Gondal plans to reach the 20 crore users mark within a year. 20 percent of the net revenue generated from the game would be donated to "Bharat ke Veer" trust – A fundraising initiative by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India on behalf of members of the Indian paramilitary forces. The initiative was launched by FLT LT Mukund B Vala, Akshay Kumar, and Rajnath Singh.

While there are sharp criticisms for Akshay Kumar’s PUBG Alternative Gaming App of Plagiarising Poster. A keen-eyed Twitter user maximustaurean found that the poster for the game is similar to a picture used by a magazine. The user had pointed out the similarity and took a dig at the developers of the game for the lack of originality. The app is facing criticism for picking a name that is also similar to PUBG.

Let’s keep it for the gamers to decide on the immersive experience of FAU-G, the company has confirmed that FAU-G is launching in November 2020. The developer nCore Games has posted a new teaser on their Twitter account.
