With the 2020 NFL Draft less than three weeks away, we put the Philadelphia Eagles on the clock:

2019 Record: 9-7; Finished: 1st In the NFC East

General Manager/Executive VP: Howie Roseman (11th Year/21st with team), Head Coach: Doug Pederson (5th Year), Offensive Coordinator: Mike Groh (3rd Year/4th Year with team), Defensive Coordinator: Jim Schwartz (5th Year)

Offense Rankings: No. 14 Overall, No. 12 Scoring, No. 11 Passing, No. 11 Rushing

The offense was hurt by a plethora of injuries to their receiving corps but got a boost from having Carson Wentz for 16 games, so the passing attack only slipped slightly while they made a six-slot jump in scoring. The biggest improvement from 2018 came in the rushing game, as they rebuilt their backfield with the additions of rookie Miles Sanders and veteran Jordan Howard.

Defense Rankings: No. 14 Overall, No. 12 Scoring, No. 11 Passing, No. 11 Rushing

A season after they ranked 30th in the NFL in passing D, the Eagles were among the most improved units in 2019, which translated to a better overall defense. They finished in the bottom half of the league in total defense (23rd) in 2018 and while they didn’t completely bounce back to their Super Bowl season(fourth), they were much more respectable a year ago.

2020 NFL Draft: Cowboys OTC | Giants OTC | Jets OTC | Raiders OTC | Steelers OTC |

The Five-Year Plan – Record: 45-35; Last Playoff Appearance: 2019; Last Playoff Victory: 2018 Season (Won 16-15 over Chicago in the NFC Wild Card Round)

2020 Picks: The Eagles went into the offseason with 10 draft picks but they’ve already used some of that equity to improve the team. They shipped their third- and fifth-round picks to Detroit for cornerback Darius Slay. They still have picks in each of those rounds, as they added a fifth-rounder when they traded Michael Bennett last year in a deal which also saw their seventh-rounder go to New England. Following free-agent losses (Nick Foles, Jordan Hicks, Golden Tate), the league award the Eagles with three compensatory picks, one in the third round and two in the fourth. Philly traded their sixth-round choice to Chicago for Jordan Howard, which is countered by a trade for Atlanta’s pick in the second-to-last round.

Round 1, Selection 21

Round 2, Selection 53

Round 3, Selection 103 (compensatory)

Round 4, Selection 127

Round 4, Selection 145 (compensatory)

Round 4, Selection 146 (compensatory)

Round 5, Selection 168 (from Patriots)

Round 6, Selection 190 (from Falcons)
