Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is under pressure from EU lawmakers to come to Europe and shed light on the huge data breach involving data firm Cambridge Analytica. Facebook is currently under fire after information about nearly 87 million of its users wrongly ended up in the hands of the British political consultancy. In a statement, European Parliament President Antonio Tajani repeated his request from last week to Zuckerberg to appear before the assembly, saying that sending a junior executive is not good enough. EU Justice Commissioner Vera Jourova has also echoed Tajan's comments, saying Zuckerberg should heed the lawmakers’ call.
