According to a report by Gizmodo, Elon Musk admitted on Friday that “humans are underrated” and that his company Tesla had become too reliant on automation. The comment by Musk was reportedly a response to the Wall Street Journal's Tim Higgins, and signaled Tesla's move to kick some of the robots out of its factories in favor of human workers. Musk said, "Yes, excessive automation at Tesla was a mistake. To be precise, my mistake. Humans are underrated.” Similarly, Musk has claimed that issues with the Model X were the result of “putting too much technology all at once into a product.”
