Experts Expect Google To Emerge Unscathed From EU's Antitrust Crackdown

According to a report by Reuters, the EU's top antitrust regulator, Margrethe Vestager, has made it her mission to stop alleged anti-competitive abuses by big American tech companies, including Alphabet Inc’s Google. However, a decision in the most important of three antitrust cases against Google is expected to show how difficult it is to stem the power of US tech giants. Reuters reports that industry executives, analysts and even Google's foes say the decision will likely leave Google's market dominance intact because the incentives to remain with the company are undeniably strong.
