Since two hand-delivered bombs went off on Monday in the city area, residents of Austin, Texas have placed 150 calls to authorities about suspicious packages. Overall, three bomb attacks have taken place Austin just this month, killing two people and injuring two others. Austin Police Chief Brian Manley has since urged people to be cautious and avoid opening packages they aren't expecting. According to police, the bombs that went off did not appear to be delivered by any mail service and were reportedly inside "average-sized delivery boxes, not exceptionally large." Investigators have also not ruled out the attacks being racially motivated, as both people killed by the bombs were African-American.
