The NFL Scouting Combine is a couple weeks away but it’s never too early to begin mocking. Here’s the first mock draft of the 2018 draft season continuing with picks 11-15 (Picks: 1-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20, 21-26)

27. New Orleans Saints

Record: 11-5
Team Needs: QB, TE, WR

Taven Bryan, DT, Florida

Wow…did Sean Payton do a great job last season getting New Orleans back on top. That pass in Minnesota goes the way it should have, I wouldn’t be surprised if they won it all. But that is neither here nor there. The defense played above their talent level and help is still needed to make sure they keep that level of play moving forward. Bryan is so fun to watch play in the trenches. He is big and nasty. Perfect for the Big Easy.

28. Pittsburgh Steelers

Record: 13-3
Team Needs: LB, S, DB

Derrius Guice, RB, LSU

Obviously, this selection means they are preparing for life after Le’Veon Bell. A rookie like Guice could provide another weapon to the offense, with or without Bell.

29. Jacksonville Jaguars

Record: 10-6
Team Needs: TE, OG, WR

Marcell Ateman, WR Oklahoma State

Another team that will face a harder schedule next season, due to their 2017 success. The defense is nasty, but surrendered 66 over their final two games in the playoffs (33 per game). Jacksonville still is only as good as their quarterback. Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson are both free agents, leaving the Ateman as a prime target on draft day.

30. Minnesota Vikings

Record: 13-3
Team Needs: OT, OG, DL

Mike McGlinchey, OT, Notre Dame

The Vikings are a unique team to follow this offseason. Minnesota is a gritty bunch who have evolved into a united force to be dealt with moving forward. McGlinchey will protect whomever the quarterback is and second-year running back Dalvin Cook gets a big body to open running lanes.

31. New England Patriots

Record: 13-3
Team Needs: CB, QB, DE

Jaire Alexander, CB, Louisville

Watch the Super Bowl and you’ll see backup Nick Foles win the Super Bowl MVP. The defense was lousy all season, the talent is not there, and New England was lucky to play in a dismal AFC. Under the current conditions, they need to address the defense if they’re going to win another Super Bowl.

32. Philadelphia Eagles

Record: 13-3
Team Needs: OT, LB, CB

Dorian O’Daniel, LB, Clemson

The Eagles need to find some stability at the linebacker position. Currently the list ‘backers fails to leave an impression of long-term success for the defending Super Bowl champs. Offensive tackle is also an area of need.
