Residents of Thunder Bay in northwestern Ontario have reported lynx showing up in backyards, ski parks, and condo properties, seemingly unfazed by humans. The Canadian lynx is typically found in forests, however this year something seems to have changed. The sheer number of sightings have caused police to warn residents to be careful when walking outside, even in the heart of the city. According to Mother Nature Network, Constable Julie Tilbury of the Thunder Bay Police Service said, "Police will provide a primary response for incidents that pose an immediate threat to human safety."
