After nearly a week of silence President Trump has weighed in on the matter of spousal abuse. Wednesday the President said he was opposed to all manner of domestic violence. "I'm totally opposed to domestic violence. And everybody here knows that," Trump made the comments while in the Oval Office. Up until now the President has been silent about his views toward domestic violence even amid the controversy surrounding a former White House aide Rob Porter, who was accused of abusing his ex-wives.
