Germany Takes Lead in Medal Count at PyeongChang

Germany has taken the lead in the medal count for the 2018 Winter Olympics.
Leading the medal table with 12 overall, German athletes have also won 7 gold medals so far at PyeongChang.
The Netherlands are in second with 11 medals overall, and 7 gold medals, though they are tied with Norway in overall medals.
Norwegian athletes have only won 3 gold medals, but lead in the silver medal count with 5.
Canada is fourth overall with a total of 10 medals, including 4 silvers and three golds.
The United States and Japan are only slightly behind after five days of competition, with 7 medals each.
