In case you're not sure how to breech conversations related to sex with your kids, Off Spring offers some assistance in this area. No matter what you think your kids are likely getting some form of sex education already, and one area of concern for some is pornography. A recent story in the New York Times Magazine unveils “What Teenagers Are Learning from Online Porn,” writer Maggie Jones notes that boys on average first view pornography at age 13; girls are around 14. Despite how horrifying the thought of that is, sex educators encourage parents to have honest conversations about the unrealistic expectations that porn sets up for future intimacy and above all making it clear what “Affirmative Consent” is and looks like where sex is concerned.
