White House staff secretary Rob Porter has resigned after allegations of physical and mental abuse.
According to reports, both of his former spouses publicly disclosed years of abuse during their marriages to Porter.
Colbie Holderness and Jennifer Willoughby even provided some evidence, including photos of Holderness with black eyes, and a copy of a restraining order filed in 2010 by Willoughby.
Porter's profile in the West Wing has increased in recent months, as an integral part of President Donald Trump's inner circle and White House chief of staff John Kelly's closest adviser.
