TMZ reports former Subway pitchman Jared Fogle, who is currently serving a 15-year sentence for child pornography and child prostitution, is attempting to free himself via some rather convoluted self-written legal documents. In the documents, Fogle claims the judge who accepted his guilty plea didn't have jurisdiction to hear the case. He also claims he shouldn't have been charged with conspiracy—because it doesn't apply to his crime of distributing child pornography—and shouldn't have been allowed to plead guilty to traveling in interstate commerce to have sex with minors—because he never left the state to do so. Fogle has served just over two years of his sentence.
