According to Russia, military forces in Syria brought down 3 crude drones electronically.
Some of them have been recovered.
At least 13 of the devices swarmed a base in northern Syria last week, where the Russian military operates an airfield.
According to a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, the drones were likely made of materials purchased or obtained, like styrofoam, wood, and lawn mower engines.
Aaron Stein, all of those materials could be purchased in Idlib, a Syrian province bordering the airfield at Latakia.
