Protests erupt over rape, murder of 7-year-old girl in Pakistan

Zainab Amin is a 7 year old child who was abused and brutally killed in Kasur, Pakistan. Her death has angered local people who say authorities have not kept their children safe. Protesters marched for a second day Thursday in Kasur. At least two people died Wednesday when protesters clashed with police. The chief minister of Punjab has ordered police to arrest the girl’s killers and offered a bounty for anyone who helps to identify the girls killers. Demonstrators have called for his resignation, saying that parents are living in fear and are scared to send their kids outside. This is the 12th such case in the same 2 kilometer area.
