Melissa Gilbert starred on the tv show Little House on The Prairie from 1974 to 1983. During an interview with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM radio Gilbert revealed that the director Oliver Stone had humiliated her during an audition for the movie “The Doors”. Gilbert said that she had embarrassed Stone in a social situation and this was his way of getting back at her. During the audition Stone had asked Gilbert to stage a sexually charged scene. Gilbert refused to physically act out the scene and left the audition in tears. Despite the incident Gilbert was cast as Pamela Courson in Stone’s film “The Doors”
