On Tuesday, during a contentious House Judiciary Committee hearing, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said that President Donald Trump's repeated public attacks on the Justice Department have not influenced the department or its ongoing investigations into alleged collusion between Trump's election campaign and Russia. Sessions went on to testify that he now remembers a meeting with Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos, who has become a focus of Robert Mueller's special counsel investigation into Russian election meddling, but denied having a clear memory of the full conversation.
