On Tuesday, US Attorney General Jeff Sessions is expected to face a barrage of questions from Democrats in the House of Representatives over allegations that he lied about communications between President Donald Trump's election campaign and representatives of Russia. Democrats from the House Judiciary Committee have said that they will question Sessions about statements he made to the Senate Judiciary Committee, in which he denied having knowledge about meetings between campaign aides and Russians. In a November seventh letter to Sessions, the committee's Democratic members said, "We intend to ask you about these inconsistencies. We are providing you notice in advance because we expect you to respond."
