On Tuesday morning, House Speaker Paul Ryan said that Roy Moore 'should step aside' following a string of sexual allegations against the Alabama senate candidate. Ryan added of Moore, "Number one, these allegations are credible. Number two, if he cares about the values that he claims to care about, then he should step aside." Ryan's comments echo multiple Senate Republicans, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and chair of the Republican National Senatorial Committee Cory Gardner, who have called for Moore to exit the race. Overall, at least a dozen Senate Republicans have said Moore should step aside since news of the allegations broke.
