On Saturday, the country of North Korea accused Donald Trump of being a “destroyer” and says he is “begging” for nuclear war. In a statement carried by the state news agency KCNA, a government spokesman said of the president's current trip around Asia, "Trump, during his visit, laid bare his true nature as destroyer of world peace and stability and begged for a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula." The spokesman then added nothing will deter Pyongyang from its nuclear weapons program. The statements come after Trump warned North Korea not to underestimate the U.S. in a speech to South Korea’s National Assembly earlier in the week.
