According to police Wednesday, an Uzbekistan immigrant suspected of killing eight people in New York City by crashing a truck through a crowd followed online plans from ISIS in planning out the attack. Authorities add that 29-year-old Sayfullo Saipov, who is in the hospital after officers shot him, had been planning the attack for weeks. New York Deputy Police Commissioner John Miller told a news conference, "He appears to have followed almost exactly the instructions that ISIS has put out on its social media channels to its followers.” According to New York Governor Andrew Coumo, Saipov was radicalized by ISIS while living in the United States.
