On Thursday, President Trump signed an executive order allowing Americans to purchase health insurance plans across state lines.
Conservative groups and members of Congress have been pushing for this change for years.
Conservatives argue that allowing insurance buyers to purchase plans offered by insurers in other states will expand options.
Conservatives also feel that allowing Americans to purchase health insurance across state lines will lower insurance costs for consumers.
There is no word from the White House about when the Executive Order will take effect.
