On Wednesday, Reuters reported that a Brazilian man whose arrest led US authorities to discover $17 million hidden under a mattress is expected to plead guilty. Cleber Rocha who prosecutors said tried to help get millions of dollars out of the United States that a co-founder of TelexFree Inc left behind when he fled the country, is scheduled to enter his plea in federal court in Boston. Prosecutors said TelexFree was a pyramid scheme, making little to no money selling its service while taking in millions of dollars from thousands of people. Rocha is facing both conspiracy and money laundering charges.
