On Tuesday, Yonhap News reported that North Korean hackers may have stolen a large amount of classified military documents, including South Korea-U.S. wartime operational plans. The news agency said 235 gigabytes of military documents were taken from the Defense Integrated Data Center. Yonhap reported that Pyongyang has denied any responsibility for the cyberattacks and criticized Seoul for “fabricating” claims about online attacks. In Washington, the Pentagon said it was aware of the media reports but has not commented on the potential breach.
