In a lawsuit filed Monday in New York federal court, Scottie Hughes, a political commentator who regularly appeared on the Fox News network, has come forward as the source of a harassment report against Fox Business host Charles Payne. In her filing, Hughes claims Payne raped her in 2013 and that her invitations to appear on Fox shows "increased dramatically" afterwards. Hughes' suit names Payne, Fox News, its parent 21st Century Fox, the company's legal and business affairs executive VP and its corporate communications lead as defendants.
