On Wednesday, CNN reported that Myanmar's de facto leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, has canceled a trip to the UN General Assembly as the crisis in Myanmar escalates. According to the United Nations, more than 370,000 the Rohingya people have fled to Bangladesh to escape violence since August 25. A spokesman for the presidential office said Suu Kyi had called off her trip for two reasons. The first was because she doesn't want leave during the current situation in Rakhine state. The second reason was because there have been reports of there being possibilities of terrorist attacks in the country.
