Let it not be said that Hillary Clinton doesn't know how to take care of her supporters. She may not have won the race, but she's still showing them she appreciates them.

With fans camped outside a New York City Barnes & Noble waiting for her scheduled appearance to sign copies of her new memoir, What Happened, the former first lady, senator, secretary of state, and presidential candidate had Joe's Pizza delivered to them as they waited.

A Clinton staff member posted a picture of fans sitting in front of the bookstore with pizza boxes in front of them, looking quite shocked, and captioned it, "Already a line for @HillaryClinton book signing (that's tomorrow). [heart and flag emoji] #WhatHappened @GradyKeefe @joysecuban"

Clinton herself sent a message via Twitter, not content to just send pizza.

"Enjoy! See you all tomorrow! [pizza, waving, and strong emoji]," she posted.

Supporters, some wearing Clinton t-shirts, also posted pictures of themselves and their Joe's pizza to Twitter.

Aurora De Lucia posted a picture of the pizza laying on top of blankets and wrote, "Y'all I'm outside Barnes & Noble Union Sq waiting for @HillaryClinton's signing 2mrw AND HER STAFF DELIVERED PIZZA 'FROM THE SECRETARY' [crying and heart emoji]"

It's clear she has a much more favorable opinion of her own supporters than Donald Trump's.

During the election she said, "You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables, right?"

She further explained, "The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic — you name it. And unfortunately, there are people like that. And he has lifted them up."

Her comment, while not factually wrong judging by what we've seen these past few months, caused a definite dent in her campaign.

And a year later she clarified those remarks in an interview with Jane Pauley for CBS Sunday Morning.

"Well, I thought Trump was behaving in a deplorable manner. I thought a lot of his appeals to voters were deplorable," she said. "I think his behavior as we saw on the Access Hollywood tape was deplorable. And there were a large number of people who didn't care. It did not matter to them. And he turned out to be a very effective reality TV star."
