Many factors go into making people happy, including how much money they make, who they spend time with and where they live.
Personal finance website WalletHub says certain states are more conducive to happiness than others.
It recently evaluated three categories ― emotional and physical well-being, work environment, and community and environment.
According to the Huffington Post, WalletHub also analyzed participation in athletics, job satisfaction, commute time, life expectancy and divorce rates.

At the lower end of the happiness spectrum were (in descending order): AK, TN, MO, KY, MS, AR, AL, LA, OK and WV!
