According to Reuters, over 50 people were jailed in the Miami area, after being suspected of looting during Hurricane Irma. Police say that looting sprees include activity in both high and low income neighborhoods. Reports say that 26 suspected looters were trying to steal from a North Miami Wal-Mart on Saturday. Reuters adds that six men were arrested after allegedly taking items like laptops, shoes and handbags from a Wynwood area shopping complex. But police say that they have a no tolerance policy. One law enforcer posted a shot of jailed looters on Facebook. The caption said “Thinking about looting? Ask these guys how that turned out. #stayindoors.”
