White House Deputy Assistant Sebastian Gorka Resigns

On Friday it was announced that White House Deputy Assistant Sebastian Gorka has resigned from Donald Trump's administration. In his resignation letter, Gorka reportedly wrote he could better serve the president's "America First" agenda from the outside, adding, "The individuals who most embodied and represented the policies that will 'Make America Great Again,' have been internally countered, systematically removed, or undermined in recent months." Gorka's departure comes one week after ally Steve Bannon also left Trump's administration, leaving his own status in the White House up in the air until Friday.
