Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci says President Trump should have more explicitly condemned white supremacy after the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday. During an interview Sunday on ABC's "This Week," the former White House Communications Director said, "I think he needed to be much harsher as it related to the white supremacists and the nature of that." Scaramucci said he would have not advised Trump to make the statement that he made, were he still working in the White House. Trump's response to Saturday's violence has been criticized by politicians on both sides for not calling out white supremacy by name. Instead, the president refered to the events as an "egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides."
