White House Senior Policy Adviser Stephen Miller might be getting a promotion. According to CNN, the White House is considering moving him to a new position, but not necessarily to Communications Director. That position has been vacant since Anthony Scaramucci's departure. Chief strategist Steve Bannon supports the move, but according to CNN reports, new Chief of Staff John Kelly favors his former Homeland Security spokesperson, David Lapan, for the role.
