Flooding in northern Illinois could worsen Saturday as rivers continue to rise following storms earlier this week. On Friday, Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner issued a disaster proclamation for Lake, McHenry and Kane counties. he promised the support of the state government to people whose properties were damaged or ruined. countless homes were affected by flooding after storms dropped over 7 inches of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday. The full extent of damage is still unknown. No injuries or deaths have been reported.
