Iran's Judiciary spokesman said that an Iranian court has sentenced U.S. dual nationals to 10 years in jail on charges of spying. But the spokesman did not give any further details on the matter such as when the sentence was passed, the name of the person or even what was their other country of citizenship. Yet the spokesman did say that the sentence could be appealed. This is not the first case of dual nationals being kept in Iran and in prison for reasons of espionage and hostile government collaboration.
