Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel is copying Donald Trump's statements.

She also seems to believe that Vladimir Putin didn't want a President Trump.

She thinks the Russian President is not too keen with Trump's policies on energy and the economy. She also pointed out the Democratic National Committee and suggested that the political party colluded with Ukraine during last year's election.

McDaniel made an appearance on Fox & Friends. She made the same point that Trump made during his interview on Wednesday on to Christian conservative television personality Pat Robertson on The 700 Club.

"I just want to say, I don't think Russia wanted President Trump," McDaniel firmly stated. "And I think the president articulated that very well."

"A pillar of Russia's economy is oil," she continued. "We have now made the United States energy independent with the Keystone Pipeline, Dakota Pipeline, our unemployment is at 4.3 percent, we have more people in the workforce. He took decisive action in Syria. This is not a president they wanted."

The RNC chairwoman then shifted the direction onto the media. She claims that Putin loves the media whereas Trump doesn't. Trump tweeted a clip of him body-slamming CNN earlier this month.

"You know what Putin loves?" she asked the host. "The media. The media that has obsessed about Russia and created chaos in our system. Three hundred and fifty-three minutes last month for the mainstream media. You know what station didn't do that? Fox. Fox is covering things America cares about and that's a great thing."

She then addressed the White House's talking points. Romney McDaniel linked the Democratic National Committee to Ukrainian officials who wanted to give the Democrats information on then-Republican candidate Donald Trump and his campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

On Wednesday, Trump made similar statements to Robertson. He was asked about the ongoing Russian scandal as his son, Donald Trump Jr., revealed in emails that an intermediary told him the Russian government wanted to help Trump win the presidential election.

"Why would he want me?" Trump argued. "If Hillary had won, our military would be decimated. Our energy would be much more expensive. That's what Putin doesn't like about me. He would like Hillary where she wants to have windmills. There are many things that I do that are the exact opposite of what he would want."

Trump's son met with a Russian lawyer after he promised damaging information on Hillary Clinton. This incident happened before he agreed to meet with a Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer during the 2016 campaign, according to three advisers to the White House briefed on the meeting and two others familiar with it. The meeting took place at Trump Tower on June 9, 2016 – two weeks after Trump won the Republican nomination.

Trump Tower is the first confirmed private meeting involving his inner circle, reports The New York Times. It's also the first one to have included his oldest son. When Donald Trump Jr. was asked about the meeting, he exclaimed that it was about adoptions and nothing about Hillary Clinton and her campaign.
