Earlier this week a fire destroyed the 24-story Grenfell Tower claiming the lives of at least 58 people. Now critics are chiming in on the response by local and national authorities to the disaster. Jeremy Corbyn the Labour party in an interview with ITV's "Peston on Sunday" said the local council, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, were in effect failing in their efforts to assist individuals and families who are now homeless as a result of the fire. The lack of aid is particularly disturbing since the community where the fire too place is the wealthiest local authority in the country. According to Corbyn "four hundred or so people -- still most of them have not got somewhere decent or safe or secure to stay," he said.
