Just two weeks after a van plowed into pedestrians on London Bridge in a confirmed terror attack, another vehicle has run into pedestrians in London today, with "a number of casualties being worked on at the scene."

CNN reports that London's Metropolitan Police said officers were called to the scene after midnight local time on Sunday to an incident on Seven Sisters Road.

"There has been one person arrested. Inquiries continue. More information will be released when confirmed," police reported.

"We have sent a number of resources to an incident in Seven Sisters Road. More information will follow when we have it," London Ambulance posted to Twitter.

Seven Sisters Road was closed northbound at Hornsey Road and southbound at Rock Street, according to Transport for London.

No further details have been released, although according to CNN national terror analyst Peter Bergen, the neighborhood holds a large Muslim population. Also, the nearby mosque has a reputation of being a place where Islamist militants once gathered.

This story is still developing.
