Car Plows Down Times Square Pedestrians

On Thursday, U.S. Navy veteran, Richard Rojas, steered his car onto a central sidewalk in Times Square and mowed down pedestrians for three blocks. He killed one teenager and injured many others. He emerged from his vehicle wild-eyed before being subdued by police and bystanders. Rojas told officers he was hearing voices and expected to die. pedestrians had little time to react as the car barreled down the sidewalk before smashing into a row of steel security barriers. The car came to a stop with its two right wheels in the air.
