Second U.S. Aircraft Carrier Moved Near North Korea

the US Navy is moving the USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier to the Korean Peninsula. amid heightened tensions in the region, it will conduct dual-carrier training exercises with the USS Carl Vinson. this comes only days after North Korea established a substantial leap forward in their missile program. The country launched a projectile that achieved "successful" controlled reentry into the earth's lower atmosphere instead of falling back. After finishing a maintenance period and sea trials in Japan, the USS Ronald Reagan left for the Korean Peninsula Tuesday.
