A new study shows that African-Americans will have twice as little money saved up for retirement as older White Americans. In fact, the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research discovered that whites have way more financial security and more sources of income after retirement that both Latino Americans and African Americans. It’s not their saving habits causing this difference, it’s ingrained racial prejudices in the United States that are causing this discrepancy.
