Trump Plays Host To Another Authoritarian

President Donald Trump reportedly played host to the president of Turkey at the White House Tuesday, extending yet another warm welcome to an authoritarian-style leader who in the past has had a strained relationship with the United States. As he sat next to the leader, Trump remarked, "We've had a great relationship and we will make it even better," continuing, "We look forward to having very strong and solid discussions." In spite of Trump's warmth, his young relationship with the Turkish leader continues to sputter, due to the United State's refusal in extraditing a Turkish cleric living in Pennsylvania whom the Turkish government blames for orchestrating a July coup against their regime.
