Gunman Kills Policeman In Paris Along Famed Champs-Elysees

The National Police Union in France has reported that a policeman has been killed along the famed Champs-Elysees.
The shooting has put the capital on high alert.
According to reports, a suspect opened fire on two policemen stopped at a red light.
One officer died at the scene, while the other was seriously wounded.
The shooter was killed by police, though another person has been apprehended in connection to the shooting.
A French interior ministry spokesman added the police were deliberately targeted by the gunman.
