Lawyer Calls For Investigation Into Death Of Aaron Hernandez

According to the Massachusetts Department of Corrections, former NFL star Aaron Hernandez 27, was found dead in his cell Wednesday morning in an apparent suicide. The former New England Patriots had been acquitted of a double murder just five days ago. According to the Associated Press, Hernandez's lawyer says "he intends to conduct his own investigation into the NFL star's hanging death." In a statement issued by the Department of Corrections Hernandez "hanged himself utilizing a bed sheet that he attached to his cell window". His attorney Jose Baez issued his own statement Wednesday that there were "no conversations or correspondence from Aaron to his family or legal team that would have indicated anything like this was possible."
