Beauty Brand to Create Nearly 300 Jobs in NYC

According to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Thursday, the beauty brand Glossier plans to create 282 new jobs in New York City. In addition, Empire State Development is giving Glossier over $3 million in performance-based tax credits through the Excelsior Jobs Program. Glossier founder Emily Weiss said in a statement this week, "We are incredibly excited to continue building a team in downtown New York City who will work to further Glossier's mission of empowering women to feel proud of who they are today."
