On Monday Bloomberg Technology revealed that Apple is assembling a top notch team of engineers to bring augmented reality or AR to the masses. The team, which includes some notable Apple insiders, is also being bolstered by expertise from a few outside hires. A UBS report from February said that Apple has hired more than 1,000 engineers to work on AR. The AR features Apple hopes to implement include virtual reality headsets, Oculus and HoloLens, as well as 3D animation experts to bring AR to the iPhone and other products.
