An Alabama megachurch is reportedly in pursuit of establishing it's own police department, and a bill that could potentially green light the likeliness of making their dreams a reality is making it's way through the state senate. The 4,100-member Briarwood Presbyterian Church, located in suburban Birmingham, contends to be in need of it's own police force, stating that it would be necessary to counter any potential threats of safety, as the property also harbors a primary school and theological seminary with 2,000 students and teachers.
