Thousands of people rallied Thursday in solidarity with immigrants who say President Trump's policies threaten their livelihoods and their futures in this country. Scores of businesses also closed to show how much is lost when immigrants stop working. According to CBS News, migrant workers walked off the job to demonstrate their worth. Thousands rallied from Chicago, to Raleigh, to Washington and Minneapolis. Scores of businesses were shuttered. Immigrants say President Trump's immigration policy threatens their livelihoods and their futures in the United States. Over two million immigrants work in the American restaurant industry alone, and 32% of undocumented workers work in the service industry.
