Shark Attacks this summer were extremely low compared to 2015’s record breaking numbers. Although scientist found a natural nursery for great white sharks out of long island, it is still extremely rare for a human to be attacked by a shark. This year, there have 24 shark attacks in the US overall. George Burgess, a keeper of the International shark attack file discussed last year’s high numbers.
