Over 30,000 People Are Left Without Power In Georgia

At 6:30 am EST on Friday morning, many resident woke with darkness after Hurricane Hermine caused over 30,000 people to be without power in Southern region of Georgia. Hermine began on the Golf Coast of Florida Thursday evening and since has made it's way to Georgia. The states electricity company's, Georgia Power, outage map showed that there were mainly effecting those in areas surrounding the cities of Valdosata, Lowndes County, and Brunswick, Glynn County. Paige Duke, spokesperson for Lowndes County, said the many crew have begun working at remove the fallen trees that fell on power lines. As of yet no injuries have been reported.
