Though the temperature is again oddly warm today, New York City isn’t quite seeing a nice day as dense fog has rolled in to cap off the afternoon.
The current temperature is 57 degrees with cloudy skies. Winds are blowing from the south at 6 mph, and humidity is 97 percent.
A special weather statement has also been issued, warning travelers of dense fog and low visibilities of around one mile in some locations and one-half mile in others.
This evening, the fog and poor visibility should improve by 5 p.m. Otherwise, temperatures will stay around 56 degrees but will drop overnight to around 44 degrees.
Tonight, expect a 90 percent chance of rain showers at around 10 p.m.
Tuesday we’ll see partly cloudy skies with a high of 45 degrees.
